We have been breeding and competing sport horses, mainly show jumpers, but eventers and dressage horses as well, for over 30 years.
It has become increasingly important to us to use the best stallions from around the world available to us, we have also endeavoured to breed only from the best mares and indeed most of our broodmares are direct descendants of the International Grade A show jumping mare Pepperpot by the famous TB stallion Rathlin.
Of course now we have only her daughters and granddaughters to breed from and our daughter Clare is riding her great granddaughters now in competition.
We are also privileged to have a broodmare by the famous Irish sire Cruising, and after having a successful competition career herself, she is now breeding some amazing young horses. The most prolific being, Foxglen Cruise Control who is at at present one of the top ranked young horses on prize money in France.

He was a finalist at Fontainbleau at 4 and 5 years old

He was invited to jump at an International show at Lyon in 2006 after being one of the top money winners of the year.

He qualified for Fontainbleau at 6 years old and was also chosen for Lanaken 6 year old world championships but could not go owing to a slight injury in the box.

He is also himself an approved stallion with the Anglo European Studbook and will take up his first stud duties in 2008.

He is by Luidam, one of the great sons of Guidam, himself a son of Quidam de Revel.

As was said before his dam is by Cruising, so he has the best blood possible on both sides of his pedigree.

For 2008 we have foals due by Poor Boy, Limbo and Ruyblas, a very old French stallion with very important bloodlines.
Clare is now in a position to take clients horses to produce for competition. She has proven herself with her results in young horse classes for the last 3 years, on mares stallions and geldings.
We have lovely facilities here. The outdoor school, horse walker, lungeing ring, post and rail turn out paddocks, and we are also lucky enough to be next to an immense forest which provides safe hacking.
We also do liveries for broodmares, youngstock and horses at rest. We have a vet in attendance 3 days a week routinely during the stud season and all our animals get 24/7 surveillance.
